John Browning Prism Spectroscope, Direct Vision Type

The instrument is 17 inches long,  has a brass stand with folding legs and stands 15 inches high. The Browning Spectroscope optical parts can be broken down into three pieces which fit snugly into a green felt lined mahogany case. The instrument gives an excellent view of the Fraunhofer lines in the solar spectrum. It is has a gold lacquered finish with some spotting and rubbing.. AST item #0091  $1345.00
